AC-DC integrated power stages in fixed frequency and quasi-resonant switching scheme offers increased robustness and outstanding performance, which is enabled by the integration of the latest 700V and 800V CoolMOS? P7 superjunction MOSFET family in both DIP-7 and DSO-12 package. Infineon’s fixed frequency CoolSET? delivers higher efficiency performance and lower switching frequency at mid and light load condition that is enabled by an integrated frequency reduction operation. The quasi-resonant CoolSET?, which is integrated with an intelligent digital algorithm, allows the PWM controller to minimize the spread of switching frequency under different AC line input conditions.

Infineon provides a wide selection of high efficiency & high performance PWM-PFC controllers to facilitate our customers' new requirements such as PFC regulations, ultra-low standby power and high efficiency power conversion in a very cost-effective manner. Infineon’s PFC controllers support both DCM and CCM with the latter supporting wider VCC operating ranges. Infineon’s LLC resonant mode control ICs achieve a higher level of efficiency at low switching losses. Infineon’s XDP? SMPS digital multi-mode PFC and LLC combo controllers are high performance digital combo controllers with integrated drivers and 600V depletion cells designed for boost PFC and half-bridge LLC targeting switched-mode power supplies (SMPS).
